Kitchen renovation in Alicante
Looking for a kitchen renovation in Alicante? You are in the right place. The kitchen is the room you use most, and the one that ages fastest. We design and renovate kitchens in Alicante and the province: new layout, cabinets, worktops, appliances, plumbing and electrics, all coordinated by one team with one fixed quote. You can talk to us in English.
What a kitchen renovation in Alicante includes
- Design and layout – we study how you cook and live, and make the most of every centimetre: L-shape, U-shape, island or open-plan kitchen.
- Demolition and removal of the old kitchen and debris.
- Plumbing – new water and drainage connections for sink, dishwasher and washing machine.
- Electrics – dedicated circuits for oven, hob and appliances, plus good task lighting.
- Walls and floors – tiles, porcelain or microcement, durable and easy to clean.
- Cabinets, worktops and appliances – quartz, compact or porcelain worktops that resist heat and stains.
Open the kitchen to the living room
Many apartments in Alicante still have small, closed kitchens. Opening the kitchen to the living area brings light and space and adds value to the property, whether you live in it or rent it out. Our architects check whether a wall can be removed and handle the technical side.

Durable materials for the Mediterranean climate
Heat, humidity near the sea and hard water are tough on kitchens. We recommend water-resistant cabinet boards, quality hinges and runners, and worktops that do not stain or scratch easily, so your kitchen still looks good years from now.

Renovating from abroad? We make it simple
Many of our clients own a home in Alicante but live in the UK, Northern Europe or elsewhere in Spain. We organise the project so you don’t have to be here:
- Visit or video call – we see the property, listen to what you want and take measurements.
- Detailed written quote – itemised, with materials and a schedule, so you know exactly what you are paying for.
- Permits handled – we take care of the paperwork with the town hall and the community of owners.
- Regular photo updates – you follow the works from home, with one single contact person.
- Handover – the property is cleaned and ready to use or to rent.
Tu Reforma en Alicante is run by Hygge Arquitectura, an architecture and renovation studio, so design, technical supervision and building work come from one team.
